Fizz was born to lift spirits. Every pop of his cap meant a new smile, every sparkle of his fizz carried a bit of joy. He loved watching people dance, laugh, and celebrate, even if he was just sitting on the counter, waiting to be opened.
But Fizz wasn’t just about refreshment. Deep inside, he wanted to be more than a drink that cools you down. He wanted to make people feel alive, to turn moments into memories and strangers into friends.
When he heard about the Hamilton Burger Festival, he knew it was the perfect place for him. A celebration full of flavors, laughter, and energy just like him. He rolled his way through coolers, passed the popcorn stand, and bubbled with excitement as he imagined joining the biggest food party in the city.

He didn’t know it yet, but at that very festival, he was about to meet someone who would change everything — a burger with a golden smile named Poppi.

Performer FormFounded in 2025, Hamilton Burger Festival was created with a clear purpose: to stimulate economic growth in the city of Hamilton and its surrounding region through one of Canada's most consumed and beloved foods, the burger.
The idea was born from a simple yet surprising observation. Despite the popularity of burgers across Canada, there was no dedicated burger festival in Hamilton. This gap inspired the creation of an event that brings together community, food culture, and entrepreneurship into one powerful experience.
What started as a local initiative is now evolving into a brand with a national vision, focused on competition, innovation, and creating real opportunities within the culinary industry.
